Chandigarh
A short selection of images from my book Chandigarh Revealed / Le Corbusier’s City Today taken whilst living and working full time in the city from 2012 to 2015. To be a resident facilitates unique access and deeper perspectives than the traveller, hence my progressive realization that the story of Chandigarh and the merging of European modernism and Indian culture had not been fully explored through imagery. The photographs and texts of my book intend to form a contemporary narrative going beyond a homage to architects and architecture to include the story of the life between the walls.
